Job summary

7th Street Burger is seeking energetic Cashiers for part-time and full-time roles at our NJ locations. You are the first hello, the last thank you, and help keep orders moving in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

You will enter orders in the POS, process cash and card payments, and team with cooks to ensure accuracy. We offer weekly pay, free meals, benefits for full-time, and a path for growth as we expand across the Northeast.

Qualifications

• A positive, customer-first attitude and reliable attendance.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified).
• Flexible availability for late nights (most shops are open until 3:00am), weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Count and close out the register at open and close.
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift.
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed.
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you.
