Job summary

Starbird Chicken in Cupertino is seeking team members for guest-focused roles in a fast-paced dining environment. You will welcome guests, take orders, and help ensure a warm, efficient experience while upholding cleanliness and safety standards.

This tipped position emphasizes excellent customer service, accurate cash handling, and teamwork. Positions require standing for long periods and availability mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate cash handling and upsell where appropriate.
• Support team with open/close tasks and food/service duties as needed.

• Hospitality is a key component in this position, so you should be comfortable with listening to and accommodating our guests.

• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, lift, grasp for extended periods of time. Must have sufficient mobility to move and operate in confined work area.
• Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs; place items on high and low shelves in office, store rooms, service areas and walk-in coolers.
• Must also be able to tolerate temperature changes in kitchen and refrigerated areas.
• Morning and evening shifts are available. Weekend shifts are a must.
