TravelCenters of America in Ohio is hiring a Cashier II to deliver excellent customer service at our travel centers. You will operate the POS system, handle transactions, and keep the food and beverage area clean and stocked while warmly assisting guests.

The role requires 2+ years cashier experience, POS knowledge, cash handling skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; we offer benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Cash handling skills required.
• Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive attitude.
• Process transactions on a POS register; maintain a clean, well-stocked area.
• Assist with receiving product and unloading; stock merchandise on planograms.
• Assist with training lower-level cashiers on duties and responsibilities.
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Establish rapport with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
