Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cashier II to deliver excellent service at our travel center POS, handling payments and keeping the food/beverage area clean and stocked. You will welcome guests, process transactions, assist with receiving product, stock merchandise, and help train junior cashiers while following safety guidelines and communicating with store leaders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions on a POS register and keep the area clean and stocked.
• Assist with receiving goods and restock merchandise.
• Help train lower-level cashiers on duties.
• Prioritize work based on store needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Communicate effectively with leaders and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
