Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cashier II to deliver excellent customer service at our travel centers. You will process POS transactions, maintain a clean, stocked food/beverage area, and assist with receiving and stocking.

You may also train junior cashiers and support overall store operations. We look for 2+ years of cashier experience, POS knowledge, and ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions on a POS register and maintain a clean, stocked area.
• Assist with receiving products and stocking merchandise.
• Train lower-level cashiers on duties and responsibilities.
• Prioritize tasks according to store needs and safety guidelines.
• Establish rapport with leaders and coworkers and follow policies.
