Job summary

Taziki’s Café is hiring at least 16, energetic team members for a fast-paced, customer-focused role in Alabama. No prior experience required, as training is provided. You’ll work with a friendly team, enjoy flexible scheduling, and have opportunities for daily pay and delicious meals on shift.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador to guests for our service, menu, story and culture.
• Place orders and deliver to dining or pickup areas.
• Understand and use the POS system.
• Follow cash handling and payment procedures.
• Maintain Health Department Standards throughout shifts.
• Follow Alcohol Handling policies and procedures.
• Perform shift duties including opening and closing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Being a Taziki’s Ambassador to guests for our service, our menu, our story, and our culture
• Placing orders for guests and delivering them to our dining or pickup areas
• Understanding and using POS (point of sale register)
• Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
• Performing shift-side work including opening and closing duties

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Experienced preferred but not required - we will train you!
• Energetic, ready to learn, and loves fresh food
• Good communication and hospitality skills
• Ability to work with passion and urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary

All Employees Must:

• Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s card shortly after beginning employment

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 9am - 4pm
• Evenings - 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends- when applicable

Holidays - when applicable (CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas)

• Hours will vary by store.
