Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs sales transactions efficiently.
2. Enters all sales into the cash register accurately.
3. Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
4. Handles cash refunds following standard procedures.
5. Interacts courteously with customers and resolves complaints.
6. Manages change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Observes customer purchases and differentiates portions.
8. Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness of service areas.
9. Stocks pastry case and maintains inventory control.
10. Ensures compliance with service standards, sanitation, and safety regulations.
11. Performs additional duties as assigned.
