Job summary

Goodwill Manasota is seeking a Full Time Cashier in Cortez GGC, Bradenton, FL to greet customers, operate the POS, and promote Change Round Up. You will assist in training new cashiers and keep the sales floor clean and organized, supporting our mission with friendly, efficient service.

The role requires 1) strong customer service, 2) cash handling, 3) ability to work days, evenings, and weekends, and 4) willingness to learn and team with others. Benefits and comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales data, price, and information codes on merchandise
• Welcome customers to participate in a Change Round Up to the nearest dollar to further support our missions
• Respond to phone calls while offering world class customer service
• Assist in the training of new team members and cashiers
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe sales floor and return all unsold merchandise to the floor
