Join to apply for the CASHIER (FULL TIME) role at Compass One Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER position at Pikeville Medical Center, located at 911 S Bypass Road, Pikeville, KY 41501. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, with varying days and shifts from 5:00 am - 1:30 pm or 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirement: Cash handling experience required.

Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work and maintain sanitation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
2. Enter all sales into the cash register, ensure accurate purchase recording.
3. Make change, accept various payment methods, and issue receipts.
4. Follow procedures for cash refunds.
5. Interact with customers, resolve complaints courteously.
6. Manage change funds and cash receipts, ensure compliance with standards.
7. Monitor customer purchases, differentiate portion sizes.
8. Replenish supplies, maintain cleanliness of service areas.
9. Keep pastry case stocked.
10. Adhere to company service, inventory, and cash control standards.
11. Comply with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety regulations.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
