Job Opening: Cashier

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Cashier position at Eurest, part of Compass Group.

Location: Citizens Bank, 685 Greenville Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919. Note: online applications accepted only.

Requirements: Prior hospitality and barista experience preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashier duties including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions promptly and accurately.
• Enters all sales into the register.
• Makes change, accepts various payment forms, issues receipts.
• Handles cash refunds following standard procedures.
• Interacts courteously with customers and resolves complaints.
• Manages change funds and cash receipts per standards.
• Observes customer purchases and differentiates portions.
• Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness.
• Keeps pastry case stocked.
• Ensures compliance with service, inventory, and cash control standards.
• Adheres to sanitation, ServSafe, and safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
