Job description

We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER position.

Location: Citizens Bank - 685 Greenville Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday. Hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Prior hospitality and barista experience preferred.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions efficiently.
• Enters sales into the register accurately.
• Makes change, accepts various payment methods, issues receipts.
• Handles cash refunds per standard procedures.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
• Manages change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance.
• Observes customer purchases and differentiates portions.
• Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness.
• Keeps pastry case stocked.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash procedures.
• Follows sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
