Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check and credit procedures.
• Cleans and stocks Front End areas and registers.
• Maintains cash handling procedures and reduces cashier variance.
• May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members.
• Assists supervisor in managing customer flow and reducing wait times.
• Participates in company programs as directed by leadership.
• Arrives on time and completes required trainings and meetings.
• Provides courteous customer service and suggests additional items.
• Merchandises and stores products properly to maximize sales.
• Complies with health, safety, and Weights & Measures procedures.
