Job Opening: Cashier/Food Service Worker

We are hiring immediately for seasonal CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.

Location

State Farm Park - 202 R Hamilton Road, Bloomington, IL 61704. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Seasonal schedule from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Open availability is preferred. Hours are from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, days may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirements

Previous cash handling, food service, and customer service experience is preferred.

• Pay Range: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, including catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform cleaning duties; dispose of trash appropriately.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cashiering accurately, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if issues arise.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily.
• Stock and rotate refrigerator products using FIFO.
• Maintain proper stock levels and record keeping for refrigerator temperatures and replenishments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
