We are hiring immediately for a part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

Location: Wilton Schools - 395 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior food service experience preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $16.35 to $16.75 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates the Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; assists with catering orders.
• Performs cashier duties using the POS system.
• Performs general cleaning; removes trash and garbage.
• Provides service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashiers according to procedures, maintains cash accuracy, and makes deposits at shift end.
• Inventories and restocks supplies and food.
• Sets up serving line, ensures food temperatures are within acceptable ranges, and notifies cooks if not.
• Serves hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepares items for sale daily.
• Keeps refrigerator stocked and product rotated using FIFO.
• Stocks pantries with correct par levels, records replenishments, and refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
