• We are hiring immediately for part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center - 10905 Providence Road West, Charlotte, NC 28277. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time; days may vary, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior grill or pizza cooking experience is required.
• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains the cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Assist with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashier according to established procedures, maintain cash accuracy with receipts, and make deposits at the end of each shift.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line, ensure temperatures are recorded and within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks if food temperatures are not within limits.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase daily.
• Keep refrigerators stocked and rotate products using FIFO.
• Stock pantries with correct par levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
