• Location: Atrium Health Macon - 777 Hemlock Street HB 141, Macon, GA 31201. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: On-call; days and hours may vary. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior cashier or food service experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; help with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; dispose of trash appropriately.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Handle cashiering with accuracy and record-keeping; make deposits at shift end.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies and food items.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if needed.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Prepare items for purchase daily.
• Maintain refrigerator stock and rotate products using FIFO.
• Stock pantries with appropriate levels, record replenishments, and monitor refrigerator temperatures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
