Job Opening: Cashier / Food Service Worker

We have openings for both full-time and part-time positions at Georgia Aquarium, located at 225 Baker Street, Atlanta, GA 30313. Online applications are preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Operate POS system, assist the Chef, prepare coffee, and maintain cleanliness at coffee and cashier stations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing foods and catering orders.
2. Handle cashier duties with the POS system.
3. Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks.
4. Provide service across retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Manage cash transactions accurately, make deposits.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food items.
7. Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks of any issues.
8. Serve food and beverages to customers.
9. Prepare items for sale daily, stock and rotate inventory.
10. Record refrigerator temperatures and replenish stock as needed.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
