+ We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

+ Location: Matthews Medical Center - 1500 Matthews Township Parkway, Matthews, NC 28105. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time; Days may vary, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Prior cashier, cash handling, food service, or customer service experience required.

+ Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness of stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing foods like meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system, ensuring cash accuracy and handling deposits.
3. Maintain cleanliness, including trash removal.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Inventory management: restocking supplies and food products.
6. Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks of issues.
7. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
8. Prepare items for purchase daily and rotate stock using FIFO.
9. Record refrigerator temperatures and replenishments daily.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
