• We are hiring immediately for a full-time Food Service Worker position.
• Location: Matthews Medical Center - 1500 Matthews Township Parkway, Matthews, NC 28105. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; days may vary, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior experience in prep cook, cold prep, food service, or customer service required.
• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare, present, and serve food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Measure ingredients accurately.
• Transport food and supplies safely between work stations.
• Store food properly following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies and utensils.
• Follow approved recipes and standards for quality and portions.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Address customer concerns and inform supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with sanitation, safety, and company standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
