• We are hiring immediately for a full-time Food Service Worker position.
• Location: Matthews Medical Center - 1500 Matthews Township Parkway, Matthews, NC 28105. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Days may vary, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior experience in cooking, food service, or customer service is required.
• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, following safety standards.
• Stores food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and utensils.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper serving temperatures.
• Serves customers courteously and efficiently.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
