Join Our Team as a Cashier/Food Service Worker at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Upstate University Hospital, located at 750 East Adams Street, Syracuse, NY 13210. Note: online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, with days and hours varying; rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

Pay Rate: $16.91 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, assist the chef, prepare coffee, and maintain cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.
• Help prepare food items such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, and assist with catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties accurately, including cash handling and making deposits.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including trash removal.
• Provide service across retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving lines, monitor food temperatures, and serve hot and cold items.
• Stock and rotate refrigerator and pantry items, ensuring proper storage and record-keeping.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
