+ We are hiring immediately for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

+ Location: Alvarado ISD - 110 South Bill Jackson, Alvarado, TX 76009. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Requirement: Previous cash handling and food service experience required.

+ Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Assist with catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage appropriately.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Cashier following established procedures, ensuring cash accuracy and receipts. Make deposits at shift end.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
7. Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, record, and notify cooks if needed.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Prepare items for purchase daily.
10. Keep refrigerator stocked, rotate products using FIFO.
11. Stock pantries to par levels daily, record replenishments and refrigerator temperatures.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
