Love’s Travel Stops in Ohio is hiring cashiers to provide fast, friendly checkout service in a busy retail setting. You’ll help customers locate items, answer questions, and balance a cash register with accuracy, while following food safety standards for deli products.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answer questions.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities.
• Handling food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
• Cleaning the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
