You will verify prices, process payments, handle returns, stock shelves, assist with store duties, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processing customer transactions in an orderly, timely, and friendly manner.
• Greeting customers as they enter and exit the store to create a positive impression.
• Verifying merchandise quantities, descriptions, and prices for transactions.
• Handling returns/exchanges and sales of merchandise.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Receiving payment on accounts and assisting with credit applications.
• Completing tickets for later pick-up and rain checks for out-of-stock items.
• Cash handling, deposits, and drawer organization for the next day.
• Using credit and check verification systems per policy.
• Managing paperwork flow, filing, and storage with daily reports.
• Directing customers to items and coordinating with team for assistance.
• Maintaining cash controls to protect assets and uphold service standards.
• Maintaining a positive customer service attitude and following cashier procedures.
• Assisting in stock management and keeping the store clean.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.
