Job summary

Wingstop is hiring a friendly cashier to provide fast, accurate service and help keep guests satisfied. You will take orders, handle payments, upsell menu items, and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared promptly.

The role requires cash handling skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a busy, team-driven environment. Food Handler Certification is a plus, and prior restaurant experience is valued. We offer flexible schedules and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Cashier/FOH experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Ability to upsell and knowledge of menu.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and welcome them to the restaurant.
• Take orders in person and over the phone; upsell and know menu items.
• Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions; verify age for alcohol.
• Answer questions and make menu recommendations.
• Monitor that all orders are read within company quote times.
• Balance the register at the end of the shift.
• Maintain a clean Front of House area and stock.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and wear the Wingstop uniform.
