Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a friendly cashier to welcome guests, take orders, and process payments quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will upsell menu items, balance the register, and ensure food meets quality standards while maintaining a clean Front of House.

The role requires cash handling, excellent interpersonal skills, and reliability. Prior restaurant or cashier experience is a plus; food handler certification is required.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certification required.
• Experience as cashier or in a fast-paced restaurant is a plus.
• Must be able to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant and calling into the restaurant.
• Place orders for customers in-person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of menu and promotions.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions; verify age for alcohol purchases.
• Answer questions from customers and make menu recommendations.
• Monitor that all orders are read within Company quote times.
• Verify that all wings are presentable and double-check orders before giving to customers.
• Balance the register at the end of the shift; prepare for the next shift.
• Help maintain a clean Front of House; keep FOH stocked.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines; promote workplace safety.
• Present a professional appearance per Uniform Standards.
• Assist in handling complaints and refer to manager when needed.
• Leave customers with a positive Wingstop experience.
• Support kitchen staff when needed and follow manager directions.
