Job summary

You will scan items, process payments (cash, check or card), issue receipts, and help ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining a clean, organized checkout area. Prior retail cash-handling experience and good math and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge; familiarity with cash register and POS.
• Good math skills.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing and product accuracy.
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit.
• Issue receipts and provide change as necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
