Job summary

Albertsons Companies is hiring a Customer Service Clerk to join our in-store team. You will operate cash registers, process payments, honor discounts, and assist customers with loyalty programs.

You will also handle money orders, lottery tickets, gift cards, and cash transfers, while maintaining a clean, organized service desk and front store area. You will replace stock in display areas, process returns, and ensure adherence to our uniform and grooming policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or related experience.
• Ability to operate electronic scanning cash registers and money-handling machines.
• Ability to process loyalty program questions or sign-ups.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate electronic scanning cash registers and process payments.
• Honor discounts and coupons and handle loyalty program inquiries.
• Sell money orders, lotto tickets, and transfer funds by wire.
• Process returns, sell gift cards, and manage other transactions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Customer Service Desk and front area, restock displays, and follow uniform/grooming policy.
