Kroger in Arkansas City, KS is looking for a friendly Customer Service Desk/Cashier to assist customers and process sales at the checkstand. You’ll open and close the desk, handle refunds and exchanges, and maintain cleanliness while delivering service aligned with our values.

Key responsibilities include operating the cash register, handling money drops, verifying price accuracy, answering phones, and supporting store accounting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work weekends regularly and overtime as needed.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions, including open/close register, ring sales, complete tender transactions, bag merchandise, and knowledge of produce codes.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area to housekeeping standards.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow Company initiatives and ensure tag deactivation when needed.
