Job description

This position is listed at the following store location: Patchogue - 545 Sunrise Highway.

The Cashier & Customer Service Associate position primarily involves clerical duties and customer service within our retail showroom office, including but not limited to:

1. Providing excellent customer service both on the phone and in person.
2. Handling heavy phone work - answering incoming calls and making outgoing calls to customers regarding showroom business.
3. Calling customers to confirm order statuses, delivery details, and product services.
4. Operating and balancing a computerized cash register.
5. Data entry using the company's point of sale system and other programs to process sales and customer inquiries.

Must be flexible with hours to accommodate a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Candidate must be able to perform various general office activities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent customer service skills, both via phone and in person, are essential. Cashier and computer experience are a plus.

Salary Range: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour.
