Preferred candidates will have retail cashier experience, basic PC skills, and familiarity with cash registers and POS systems. Evening and weekend shifts may be required in this union environment.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.
• Good math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing and product accuracy.
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit.
• Issue receipts and give change as necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
