Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a friendly Cashier to be the face of the store, handling transactions quickly and accurately while delivering excellent service.

You will assist customers, manage stock tasks as needed, and maintain clean checkout areas with strong communication to management. The role requires 18+, a HS diploma, and 1-2 years cashiering experience, plus a flexible schedule that covers nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills; take directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and maneuver carts as required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and make change.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints.
• Follow front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed.
• Maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition and communicate with front end management.
