The Kroger Family of Companies is hiring for a cashier/courtesy clerk at 1355 S Park St, Carrollton, GA 30117. You will greet shoppers, process transactions, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience while adhering to store policies and safety standards.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, knowledge of the POS system, and compliance with cash handling rules. Previous experience as a bagger or clerk is a plus; all team members contribute to a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons).
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
• Follow guidelines on restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and assist customers.
