Job summary

Englefield, Inc. is seeking friendly, motivated cashiers to join the Duchess Team at 561 E. Main St. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities and provides exposure to modern POS systems for everyday transactions.

You'll welcome customers, process payments, maintain a tidy store, stock inventory, and ensure compliance with safety regulations for tobacco, alcohol, and other sales. Prior retail or food service is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and ability to help customers.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Comfort with using modern technology and POS systems.
• Willingness to work flexible FT/PT schedules.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly attitude.
• Process transactions efficiently using POS systems.
• Keep store clean and organized inside and out.
• Stock shelves and manage inventory for customer needs.
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales.
• Promote rewards program to customers and explain benefits.
