Englefield Retail is hiring in the Duchess family to join our team as a cashier and community connector. You will welcome customers, handle transactions with modern POS, keep the store clean, stock shelves, and ensure compliance with tobacco and alcohol regulations.

We value a customer-focused mindset, basic math and cash handling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling. Prior retail or food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments)
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards our loyalty program offering the best prices and offers to customers
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency
