Job summary

Englefield, Inc. is seeking 2nd & 3rd shift cashiers to join Duchess team as full-time or part-time members. You will welcome customers, process transactions with POS systems, and maintain a clean store environment while stocking shelves and managing inventory.

You will follow safety rules for tobacco, alcohol, and other sales, and promote our Duchess Crown Card Rewards program. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, comfortable with technology, and able to work in a fast-paced setting with

Qualifications

Customer-focused mindset—you love helping people.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
Comfort with technology—we use modern tools to make work easier.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation.
Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments).
Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out.
Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need.
Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales.
Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards our loyalty program offering the best prices and offers to customers.
Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency.
