Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time cashier in Sevierville, TN to provide friendly checkout experiences and knowledgeable assistance to customers. You will process transactions at the POS, promote CLUB Membership and store pickup services, and help keep shelves tidy. Flexibility to assist with other duties is expected.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to handle cash accurately and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and customers
Ability to operate computerized POS register system

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a prompt, friendly manner
Process transactions accurately at the POS
Handle merchandise with care and stock shelves when not ringing up
Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up
Perform other duties as assigned
