Job summary

Responsibilities

• Understanding and adhering to CNRG’s Mission and Values.
• Accurately processing customer transactions in a timely and friendly manner (credit cards, cash, checks).
• Greeting customers as they enter and exit the store, leaving a positive impression.
• Verifying merchandise quantities, descriptions, and prices to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Handling returns/exchanges and sales of merchandise.
• Answering incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Receiving payments on commercial accounts and aiding in credit applications.
• Preparing and filing tickets for later pickup and rain checks for out-of-stock items.
• Counting tenders, preparing deposits, and organizing the drawer for the next day.
• Directing customers to items and coordinating with team members as needed.
• Maintaining cash controls to protect assets and ensuring daily paperwork is filed properly.
• Maintaining a positive customer service attitude at all times.
• Following all cashier procedures and accurately distinguishing similar products.
