Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a friendly and reliable retail associate to provide excellent customer service and handle transactions at the cash wrap. You will help customers, enroll them in the Loyalty Rewards program, and promote Change Round Up to support the organization’s mission.

The role involves stocking, merchandising according to planograms, and keeping the store clean and organized while maintaining safety and security. A high school diploma and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Effective communication with diverse individuals.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with store operations and product questions.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately.
• Inform customers about Loyalty Rewards and enroll them.
• Explain Change Round Up and support mission programs.
• Move and stock merchandise per planograms and keep floor attractive.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and restrooms.
• Ensure safety and security of staff and customers.
• Perform janitorial and housekeeping duties as needed.
