Duchess is hiring a Team Member for Dover, OH on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You’ll greet customers, handle transactions, and keep the store clean and stocked. This role involves using modern POS systems, promoting rewards, and ensuring compliance with age-restricted sales.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused mindset
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling
• Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required
• Comfort with technology—we use modern tools to make work easier

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation
• Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments)
• Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out
• Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need
• Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales
• Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards loyalty program
• Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency
• Other Qualifications include, but are not limited to walking, standing, squatting, lifting, carrying, and reaching. Ability to work in demanding circumstances including variable temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
