Job Description

We are seeking a Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy greeting guests, solving problems, and maintaining efficient operations. Responsibilities include processing transactions, balancing cash, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operate register/POS accurately and handle cash and credit transactions.
2. Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs.
3. Count, organize, and balance cash drawer; complete cashier slips and deposits.
4. Follow Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
5. Know merchandise to assist customers and process transactions correctly.
6. Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned.
7. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
8. Ensure stock levels are maintained and replenish as needed.
9. Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
