The Environmental Services OR Tech position is designed to ensure cleaning and maintaining of the physical environment of Ct. Children’s perioperative service areas. This position is responsible for performing the cleaning of the surgical department, for receiving and storing supplies and maintaining the operating room suite in a clean and orderly condition.
Compliance:
Comply with OSHA and other local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain compliance with Aramark’s standards of operation and conduct, including the Business Conduct Policy. Maintain confidentiality of patient care information. Demonstrate respect for the patient's Bill of Rights. Comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations and guidelines, including the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Customer Service:
Maintain a friendly, positive attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers; respond to customer needs. Demonstrate strong customer service and effective listening skills. Uphold the highest levels of safety, quality, and service excellence for employees, clients, consumers, shareholders, and the community. Exhibit detail orientation and sustained concentration. Apply critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Model ethical, safe, and fiscally responsible practices. Follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Handle multiple priorities and demonstrate teamwork skills. Meet annual mandatory education requirements. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
LICENSE and/or CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR in adult, child & infant is required upon hire and maintained.
