Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Mississippi is seeking a Casino Cashier to provide excellent guest service and accurately redeem gaming tickets and payouts. You will handle cash, checks, and markers, following Title 31 and internal controls.

Responsibilities include verifying identifications, paying jackpots, and supporting team members with transactions while upholding Trop Core Values. Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Proficient in English verbal and written
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Accurately redeems guest’s gaming tickets
• Redeems guest’s slots payout tickets
• Cashes guest’s personal checks, electronic checks, credit card advances and markers
• Payouts for guest’s prizes verifying all appropriate identification
• Pay/reimburse jackpots for Slots
• Make change for Food & Beverage staff and other Team members transactions as deemed appropriate by Casino Management
• Follows Caesars Trop Core Values at all times
• Knowledge of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act for large cash transactions and recording/reporting requirements
• Knowledge of MS Gaming regulations and internal controls, policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
