Job summary

Scoreboard Sports Lounge and Casino, LLC is seeking a vigilant cashier to ensure accurate monetary transactions and exceptional guest service on the gaming floor. The role requires strict adherence to policies, procedures, and gaming regulations while maintaining positive guest interactions.

The successful candidate will count and verify banks, handle cash and vouchers, and support slot-related tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated accuracy in currency handling and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Count and verify bank at start and end of shift; ensure accuracy.
• Cash TITO, jackpots, hand pays, and other monetary transactions per procedure.
• Assist with key distribution and inventory of company funds and assets.
• Check-in/out banks for other departments; maintain accountability.
• Operate gaming tech and processing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.
• Provide exceptional guest service and represent the property positively.
• Maintain safety and security as part of daily duties.

Job description

Position Summary

Assures the highest possible level of visitor and guest satisfaction by providing superior guest service.

Adhere to all company and department policies and procedures; all Company Practices (i.e. Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, Core Values, 15 Points of Service, etc.); State laws; and Gaming Regulations and Requirements.

Responsible for securing and maintaining inventory of Company funds and assets while conducting monetary transaction with team members and guests.

Responsible for positively representing and promoting the property and the Company.

Essential Functions

1. Count into assigned bank(s); verifying out-going cashier
2. Confirm cigarette counts
3. Work Konami (Synkros): cash TITO’s, jackpots, manual hand pays, cumulative credit (cc) pays, dispute pays; making/re-making player’s cards, understanding points
4. FABI Cash ACH, credit card, debit card processing and/or check cashing according to specific procedures
5. William Hill Sportsbook ticket cashing and bank accountability
6. Check-in and –out banks for other departments, including accountability of turn-ins and re-setting the bank
7. Distribution and receipt of assorted restricted and non-restricted keys, as needed
8. If applicable, completing Pit fills and drops at assigned times
9. Slot drops as assigned
10. Kiosk rollovers and fills as needed
11. ATM fills as needed
12. Other Duties as assigned
13. Safety is everyone’s responsibility

Minimum Qualifications:

Mathematical Skills

1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
2. Ability to differentiate all denominations of currency and coin, vetting-out foreign currency/coin of zero-value

Language Skills

1. Communicate effectively with guest(s), co-worker(s), and management in English, both written and verbal
2. Manage detailed service and attentiveness, especially for all documentation

Reasoning Skills

1. Ability to make quick judgment decisions

WORK CONDITIONS:

Almost exclusively indoors but may require brief periods of being outdoors. Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and smoky. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3-ft. access. Tasks performed from a non-sitting position. Team members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of an assigned area and assigned equipment. Work entails chemical usage. Constant contact with staff and customer. Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays.
