As a Carter Lumber Cashier, you will be providing excellent customer service at the point of sale. Your responsibilities will include processing transactions, handling cash, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. Responsibilities of the Position:

Customer Service:

• Greets customers and assists with purchases.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

Cash Handling:

• Receive payments in the form of cash and credit cards
• Maintain accurate cash registers and reconcile daily totals.
• Follow proper procedures for handling cash and making change.

Attention to Detail:

• Ensure pricing accuracy and scan items correctly.
• Assist with restocking merchandise as needed.
