• Customer service experience
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet, engage, and assist customers actively as a Cashier/Checker.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Handle various tenders and understand POS system operations, adhering to company policies.
• Maintain honesty and control loss related to cash shortages or overages.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items and report discrepancies.
• Follow established policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Comply with all relevant laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
