Job summary

The Buona Companies in Valparaiso, IN is hiring a Front of House Guest Service Associate to greet guests, take orders, and handle payments while ensuring service quality.

You will learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru duties, work quickly in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to a clean, sanitary workspace. Employee tips supplement hourly wages and provide a competitive overall compensation package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cashier duties: greet guests, record orders, take payment and handle transactions.
• Expediter/Server duties: ensure food quality before serving, coordinate with kitchen and servers, assist with take-out/phone orders, serve food promptly, keep area clean and sanitary.

From $13.5 per hour - $15.5 per hour ; based on experience + tips.

Job Summary:

As a Front of House Guest Service Associate, you will be expected to learn cashier, expediter and drive-thru positions.You will greet our guests with a smile, quickly and accurately record orders, and take payment. You will also serve food that meets our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.

Responsibilities:

Cashier:

• Knowledge and understanding of our menu
• Take pride in every aspect of your work and perform with enthusiasm
• Communicate and work with your team to give outstanding service to our guests
• Greet every guest with a smile!

Expediter/Server:

• Be able to recognize our food as it is presented from the kitchen
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
• Communication with kitchen and servers
• Assist with take-out/phone orders
• Serve & auction food properly and in a timely manner
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
• Other duties as assigned
