Job Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and loyalty offers according to company policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits, control loss, and follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions, and adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions, report accidents, and participate in safety programs.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers, assisting with product questions and store navigation.
• Comply with all applicable laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflict professionally and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Support and assist diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
