Job Responsibilities:

1. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
2. Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and adhering to company policies on cash shortages and overages.
3. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
4. Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
5. Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and adhere to food safety regulations.
6. Promote safety by following procedures, identifying unsafe conditions, and reporting issues.
7. Maintain equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
8. Create a welcoming environment for customers, assisting with questions and providing support.
9. Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
10. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
11. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
12. Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
13. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
14. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
