Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
  • Handle various tenders and adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items.
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
  • Stay current with store promotions and adhere to food safety regulations.
  • Reinforce safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
  • Maintain equipment and create a welcoming environment for customers by providing product information and assistance.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Support and assist diverse customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
